Miss Kindel Lynn McMahon and Adam John Kestner exchanged wedding vows Aug. 8 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Camp Point.

The bride is a daughter of John and Janice McMahon of 2378 N. 1675th Place, Camp Point. The bridegroom is a son of Brad and Barb Kestner of 2699 N. 1153rd Lane, Clayton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father during the 2 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Robert Alexander. Carolyn Pond was organist and Kari Miller was vocalist. Jake Kroencke was candlelighter.

Maid of honor was Denise Janssen of Orlando, Fla. Bridesmaids were Gina Fabrizio of Chicago, Candace Hensley of Palatine, Jessie Tonsor of Grafton and Nicole Haschemeyer of Arenzville.

Best man was Andy Kestner of Kellerville, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jake McMahon of Camp Point, brother of the bride, and Adam Wagner of New Berlin, Bryan Snook of Davenport, Iowa, and Jake Tenhouse of Indiana.

Ushers were Kip Ramsey of Edwardsville, Jeremy Nickle of Macomb and Marc Meyer of Quincy.

Flower girls were Kate Kroencke of Champaign and Jill Kestner of Iowa, cousins of the bridegroom.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 7 in the Patio in Quincy. A reception began at 6 p.m. in the Ambiance, also in Quincy.

The newlyweds are at home in Camp Point after honeymooning in Las Vegas.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Camp Point Central High School and a 2006 graduate of Western Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in special education. She is pursuing a master's degree in education counseling at Quincy University and is a special education teacher at Central Junior High School in Camp Point.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Camp Point Central High School and a 2004 graduate of WIU with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a farm analyst at Farm Business Farm Management in Camp Point.
