St. John Episcopal Church was the setting for the July 11 wedding of Miss Erika Joan Kleemeyer and Travis Lambert Knuffman.
The bride is a daughter of James and Candace Kleemeyer of Ursa. The bridegroom is a son of Dennis and Tammy Knuffman of Liberty.
The bride was given in marriage by her father during the 2 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. James Derbyshire. Assistant priest was the Rev. Daniel Banner. Kirby Eber was organist and Loraine Hopson, aunt of the bride, and Dawn Ormond, aunt of the bridegroom, were soloists. Lectors were the mothers of the bridal couple.
Matron of honor was Heidi Easterling of Quincy, sister of the bridegroom. Bridesmaids were Sara Hufendick of Ursa; Christie Field of Liberty, cousin of the bridegroom; Suzie Mittermeyer of Loraine; and Sarah Guymon of Hamilton, cousin of the bride.
Best man was D.J. Knuffman of Liberty, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Ramsay Easterling of Quincy, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Troy Ormond of Quincy, cousin of the bridegroom; Clint Knuffman of Liberty, uncle of the bridegroom; and Richard Markey of Quincy, cousin of the bride.
Ushers were Tracy Markey of Tennessee, Ill., uncle of the bride; Joe Ormond of Liberty, uncle of the bridegroom; and Bobby Field of Liberty, cousin of the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Abigail Knuffman, and ring bearers were Randle Guymon and Andy Guymon.
A rehearsal dinner was held July 10 in the Patio, hosted by the bridegroom's parents. A reception was held from 7 p.m. to midnight in the Knights of Columbus.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii, and are at home at 723 E. 2100th Place, Liberty.
The bride graduated from Unity High School and John Wood Community College. She attends Quincy University and Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and is a licensed practical nurse at St. Vincent Home.
The bridegroom graduated from Liberty High School and is a plumber at Agri-Pump and Water Service.
