Miss Sarah Harris and Jason Harms exchanged wedding vows Aug. 21 at the Ambiance.
The bride, of 1725 S. 28th, is a daughter of Chuck and Kim Stapp of 1725 S. 28th and Michael Harris of Payson. The bridegroom is a son of Bryan and Amy Harms of 5136 Hwy. 24, Quincy.
The 6 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Joseph McGarry; the bride was given in marriage by her father, Michael Harris, and stepfather, Chuck Stapp. Music was provided by Beth Fox, aunt of the bridegroom. Scripture reader was Audrey Reid, grandmother of the bride.
Maid of honor was Megan Dedert of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Jamie Lash of Quincy, sister of the bride; Erica Harris of Quincy, sister-in-law of the bride; Cindy Linderer of Payson; Emily Flesner and Lara Walker, both of Quincy; and Rebecca Wright of Emden, Mo.
Best man was Matt Phillips of Payson. Groomsmen were Kevin Lash, brother-in-law of the bride; Jason Harris, brother of the bride; Adam Harms, brother of the bridegroom; and Cory Leach, Ryan Beaver and Matt Maggert, all of Quincy.
Ushers were Matt Harris of Payson, brother of the bride, and Dallas Dedert of Quincy, cousin of the bridegroom.
Flower girls were Elly Harms, daughter of the bridal couple, and Ada Harris, niece of the bride. Ring bearers were Reid and Kaleb Lash, nephews of the bride.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 20 in Sprout's Inn. A reception began at 7 p.m. in the Ambiance.
The newlyweds are at home at 1428 Deerfield Drive and plan a wedding trip in December.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and attended John Wood Community College for two years. She is a manager at Hardee's.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Quincy High School and will graduate from Quincy University in May 2010 with a degree in physical education. He is a manager at Hardee's.
