Ashley Elizabeth Cook and Nathan Arthur Miller, both of 2200 Rancho Blvd., were united in marriage Aug. 1 in St. Francis Catholic Church.

The bride is a daughter of Mark and Sarah Cook of 140 N. 24th. The bridegroom is a son of Daniel and Christine Miller of 920 Christopher Court.

The 1 p.m. ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Kurt Hartrich; Mr. Cook gave his daughter in marriage. Laura Kammerer was organist and Lauren Costigan was vocalist. Readers were Jessica Showman of Wheaton and Shannon O'Brien of Pella, Iowa, and gift bearers were Greg and Chris Altmix of Quincy, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom.

Maid of honor was Emily Cook of Quincy, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Elizabeth Bugger of Quincy. Bridesmaids were Nici Woodyard of Quincy, Sarah Kayser of Carbondale and Emily Miller of Quincy, sister of the bridegroom.

Best man was Adam Miller of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Evan Miller of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom; Chuck Woodyard of Quincy; Ross Braden of Carbondale; and Cody Kamm of Quincy.

Ushers were Jared Winking and Freddie Kientzle of Quincy.

Flower girl was Hannah Miller, niece of the bridegroom, and ring bearer was Gavin Miller, son of the bridal couple, both of Quincy.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in Tony's Too. A reception began at 6 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus.

The bridal couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica, and are at home at 2200 Rancho Blvd.

The bride earned an associate of arts degree from John Wood Community College and is a server at TGI Fridays.

The bridegroom attends Western Illinois University and is employed by Archer Daniels Midland Co.
