St. Francis Catholic Church was the setting for the July 18 wedding of Miss Jessica A. Ewers and Ronald W. Bridal, both of Quincy.

The bride is a daughter of John and Debbie Ewers of Loraine. The bridegroom is a son of Rick and Carol Bridal of Quincy.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the 1 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Kurt Hartrich, OFM. Music was provided by Amy Stollberg, vocalist, and Laura Kammerer, organist. Readers were Jackie Ebeling, aunt of the bride, and Vickie Hanlin, aunt of the bridegroom.

Maids of honor were Brookney Ewers and Trisha Williamson, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Arion Hammann, Mellissa Cunningham and Amelia Hollenberg.

Best men were Rob Bridal and Rick Bridal, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Ryan Keck, Andy Hoskins and Dana Stafford.

Ushers were Travis Dinkheller, Chris Lubbring and Travis Peters.

Flower girl was Sydney Ward and ring bearer was Ryan Bridal, nephew of the bridegroom.

A rehearsal dinner was held July 17 in the Pier Restaurant, hosted by the parents of the bridegroom. A reception was held in the Oakley-Lindsay Center.

The bridal couple are at home in Quincy after honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, and Negril, Jamaica.

The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University and is employed by the Quincy Public Schools.

The bridegroom earned a bachelor's degree from WIU and a master's degree from William Woods University. He is employed by the Quincy Public Schools.
