Mona Kay Baucom and Dillon Michael Lara, both of Kirksville, Mo., exchanged wedding vows July 11 at the Big Creek Conservation Area in Kirksville.

The bride is a daughter of Chuck and Diane Baucom of Liberty. The bridegroom is a son of Greg and Joyce Lara of Kirksville.

The bride was given in marriage by her father; the Rev. Richard Northcutt officiated.

Maid of honor was Deana Baucom, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Emily Tobias.

Best man was Ryan Clark. Groomsman was Andrew Morhfeld.

Ushers were Jacob Baucom and Tom Baucom, brothers of the bride, and Bradley Burger.

Flower girl was Jordan Speak and ring bearer was Beau Baucom.

A rehearsal dinner was held July 10 at the home of the bridegroom's parents. A reception followed the ceremony in the Journal Building in Kirksville.

The newlyweds are at home in Columbia, Mo., after honeymooning in Florida.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2009 graduate of Truman State University. She works in the juvenile system in Columbia.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Kirksville High School, a 2007 graduate of Moberly Area Community College and a 2008 graduate of Berkelee College of Music. He is a youth pastor at Community United Methodist Church in Columbia.
