An ambulance and pickup truck sideswiped mirrors on a curve east of Quincy at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. No one was injured. There was no patient on board at the time.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reports a 2006 Adams County ambulance driven by Scott A. Harman, 34, of Quincy, was traveling west on North 900th Avenue (State Street) at East 1450th Street.

A 2003 Dodge pickup truck was headed east when the two vehicles met on a curve and the mirror on the driver's side of each vehicle hit. The ambulance was not on an emergency run.

Steven J.L. Barry, 19, of Liberty, the driver of the pickup truck, was ticketed for operating of an uninsured motor vehicle.
