Brown County Action Team to celebrate anniversary

The Brown County Action Team will celebrate its third anniversary Monday with refreshments and a keynote speaker.

Christopher Koch, state superintendent of schools and graduate of Brown County High School, will speak on education in the county.

A video from Brown County graduate Andrew Barfield's cross country bike trip will be presented as well as one from current student Austen Boylen.

The Actioneer of the Year award will also be presented.

The event begins at 5:15 p.m. with the keynote address at 5:35 in the Brown County High School Auditorium.

Tickets, free of charge, are available at the University of Illinois Extension, Brown County Schools, Brown County Bank and Farmers State Bank.
