Two sentenced to prison on burglary charges
Published: 11/6/2009 | Updated: 11/13/2009

Two people who were the target of an August manhunt have each been sentenced to three years in prison.

Robert W. Missen III, 29, and Patricia Gordy, 31, pleaded guilty to felony second-degree burglary. Judge Robert M. Clayton II sentenced the two earlier this week.

Missen and Gordy were discovered by a homeowner taking money, jewelry and other items from a residence on County Road 153, about eight miles from Philadelphia, on Aug. 26.

Missen was found a day later near Philadelphia and Gordy was apprehended Aug. 29 in Clark County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Shelby and Clark County sheriff's departments, the Northeast Missouri Drug Task Force and the LaGrange Police Department all helped in the search for the two, who were boyfriend and girlfriend.
