Quincy Park Band puts on wonderful show in summer
Published: 7/5/2009 | Updated: 7/12/2009

To The Herald-Whig:

Quincy audiences are so privileged to hear the Quincy Park Band concerts and their wonderfully and expertly crafted orchestrations.

As a summertime resident of the Quincy area and one who advantages myself of the arts and entertainment that this acclaimed All- American city holds, I encourage all who have not experienced the professional musicianship that this unique group provides to attend their free programs in the parks. Under the expertise of director-conductor Pam Potter, each talent on stage combines to make a superb presentation twice weekly to Quincyans in the beautiful park settings. Each hour is full of traditional as well as contemporary renditions to please everyone.

Let's overload Madison Park -- or wherever these concerts may appear -- with attendance and visible gratitude to these artists for their offerings and realize the joy they communicate, and the widespread publicity that they bring to Quincy.

A debt of thankfulness goes to Pam Potter for her untiring service in preparation and delivery to achieve the best for this community.
