Canton man injured in one-vehicle accident near Monroe City

MONROE CITY, Mo. -- A Canton man suffered moderate injuries Saturday afternoon during a one-vehicle crash near Route HH.

Johnathan McReynolds, 21, Canton, was transported by Monroe City Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

McReynolds was a passenger in a 2002 Ford being driven by Barry Matthes, 20, of Fenton. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle went into a skid and struck a guard rail twice.
