If Bud Niekamp resigns from the Quincy School Board, the remaining board members would have 45 days to choose a replacement.

If they could not, Regional Superintendent of Schools Ray Scheiter be given 30 days to choose.

If Niekamp steps down from the County Board, that board would name a replacement.
