Man indicted on federal child porn charges

A 32-year-old Kirksville man has been indicted on federal child pornography charges after having been convicted of statutory rape and sodomy in 2002 Marion County.

Joseph Ketsenburg was indicted by a federal grand jury on two felony counts of child pornography.

According to the indictment, Ketsenburg pleaded guilty in November 2002 to two counts of statutory rape in the second degree and one count of statutory sodomy in the second degree in Marion County Circuit Court.

Between May 2007 and August 2008, Ketsenburg is alleged to have possessed images containing child pornography on his computer. If convicted, each count carries a penalty range of 10 to 20 years in prison and or fines of up to $250,000.
