SMOKE ON THE RIVER

Gates open today at 10 a.m. for Smoke on the River at Kesler Park. The Quincy Ski Club puts on a show at 2 p.m.; live music at the Dock begins at 3 p.m. with the Cheeseburgers and continues with Blue Healers and Scotty Boy Daniels Blues Band.

Judging for the contest starts at noon. Food, soda and beer will be sold.
