Donation boxes for people wanting to contribute to the Good News of Christmas campaign are in place at Wal-Mart, Farm & amp; Home Supply, Kmart, Shopko, Lenscrafters at the Quincy Mall, the Quincy Public Library and the main lobby of The Quincy Herald-Whig.

The Herald-Whig will publish daily stories about people and families in need.

More information about the campaign, sponsored by The Herald-Whig, is available by calling Julie Hutmacher at 223-5100 during regular business hours.
