Published: 9/3/2008 | Updated: 1/23/2009

Jenny Benjamin, the county's animal warden, said people with a bat in the house who live in the city of Quincy should call the city's animal control officers at (217) 222-9360, while county residents who live outside the city limits of Quincy should call her office at (217) 277-2145.

If more than one bat is involved, Benjamin said people should call Chris Hanlin of Hanlin's Wild Animal Removal at (217) 223-0063.
