Clouds, cooler temperatures & a few areas of sprinkles are in the wake of a cold front that crossed the region early today. This pesky weather feature will continue to wring out a few areas of light showers today coupled with much cooler temperatures this afternoon. Highs are forecast to top near 70.
High pressure is expected to fill in later tonight ending the sprinkles & to provide a nice wrap to the week. Attention then turns to a return flow from the south this weekend with another threat for a few showers & thunderstorms into early next week. Confidence in the extended forecast is rather low regarding precipitation chances but it will gradually become warmer.
