One person hurt in three-vehicle crash in Fowler

FOWLER, Ill. -- One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 24 at East 1332nd Street in Fowler.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said a vehicle driven by an unidentified female juvenile rear-ended a 2011 Chevrolet 4D pickup truck driven by Racheal D. Dinklage of Clayton. The collision caused Dinklage's vehicle to strike the rear of a vehicle driven by James C. Campbell of Quincy.

Dinklage was taken to Blessing Hospital with what were described as minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The juvenile was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Assisting at the scene were the Adams County EMS and Central Adams Fire Department.
