Food, music, art converge at Share the Joy event

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal Arts Council will host a soup and dessert fundraiser called Share the Joy at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. The event will include homemade soups, breads and desserts followed by special holiday performances.

Immediately following dinner, guests will hear a piano performance by HAC Executive Director Michael Gaines, who will be joined by special guest artists saxophonist Spence W. Camp of Monroe City and artist Cyndi Taylor of Hannibal. Taylor will complete a painting during the musical presentation. A variety of traditional, contemporary and original holiday music selections will be performed. Guests will also have an opportunity to shop the 99 Bucks…or Less art sale featured in the gallery.

The public is invited to make reservations to attend this special fundraising event. Cost for the dinner and program is $10 for HAC members and $15 for general admission. Reservations are required by Wednesday, Dec. 13, by contacting the Hannibal Arts Council at 573-221-6545 or
