QUINCY -- The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County will hold a Family Christmas at the Mansion on 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10.
Children will be able to make German Christmas decorations with the help of an instructor from the Quincy Art Center at the Visitor's Center, which is located across the brick alley from the Mansion. Then, children and their families will head over to the Mansion to hang their decoration on one of the Christmas trees.
While they are at the Mansion, children can also visit Santa Claus to tell him what they want for Christmas, and they can see Mrs. Claus, who will read them a Christmas story.
The Family Christmas at the Mansion will be free of charge and open to the public.
Call 217-222-1835 with any questions or follow the Mansion on Facebook to learn more about upcoming Christmas events as well as year-round events.
