QUINCY -- Join the crowd for the next Garden Nibbles program to learn about the favorite holiday plants in December.
This program will be offered from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in all five local University of Illinois Extension county offices: Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike and Schuyler counties.
Extension Educator Kari Houle will provide information about commonly found holiday plants and how to care for them even after the holidays have past.
The program is free to attend and is scheduled to make it easy to attend during a workday lunch hour.
Events will be held:
º Dec. 11 at the Hancock County Extension Office, 550 N. Madison St. in Carthage
º Dec. 12 at the Pike County Extension Office, 1301 E. Washington St. in Pittsfield
º Dec. 13 at the Schuyler County Extension Office, 710 Maple Ave. in Rushville
º Dec. 14 at the Adams County Extension Office, 330 S. 36th in Quincy
º Dec. 15 at the JWCC Mt. Sterling Education Center, 108 N. Capitol St. in Mt. Sterling
