Inside the matchup: The Saints are looking to rebound from a 70-63 loss at No. 3 Bellarmine on Thursday in which they had a 10-point lead in the second half. The loss ended a seven-game winning streak, which was Maryville's longest since the 1998-99 season. One of the reasons for the Saints' success is controlling the glass. Maryville has outrebounded every opponent this season and leads the GLVC with an average of 42.8 rebounds per game. Nolan Berry, a 6-foot-10 senior center, ranks third in the league in rebounding (10 per game) and field goal shooting (66.7 percent). He also is fifth in the league in scoring at 18.4 points per game. The Saints have three others averaging in double figures, including guards Casey Teson and Forrester Sims, who have combined to make 55 3-pointers. Quincy is off to its worst start in conference play since the 2007-08 season when it lost its first seven GLVC games. The Hawks finished 9-10 in conference play that season. The Hawks play five of the next seven games at home.
