JWCC to offer GED prep classes in Quincy, Mount Sterling and Pittsfield

QUINCY -- John Wood Community College will offer free GED prep classes in Quincy, Mount Sterling and Pittsfield starting Monday, March 12. The classes are offered through the JWCC Adult Education program, which helps students prepare for the high school equivalency test. The program also provides assistance with career planning and job skills.

Quincy classes will be in room D147 at the JWCC campus, at 1301 S. 48th, in Quincy. Pittsfield classes will be at the Southeast Education Center, 39637 260th St., 2 miles north of Pittsfield on U.S. 54.

Mount Sterling classes will be at the Mount Sterling Education Center, 108 N. Capitol St.

English as a second language classes will be Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning March 13 on the Quincy campus. Classes are free but students are required to attend an orientation session.
