Mr. and Mrs. Austin Schlueter are at home in Quincy after their marriage June 2 at Dick Brothers Brewery.
The bride is the former Miss Abby Schlipmann, daughter of John and Jackie Schlipmann of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Steve and Marjorie Schlueter, also of Quincy.
The 4 p.m. ceremony was conducted by Adam Schlipmann of Lake Forest, brother of the bride, who also provided music. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Reader was Mrs. Allison Struck, cousin of the bridegroom.
Matron of honor was Allison Gabriel of Quincy, sister of the bride, who was escorted by Mason and Jack Gabriel, nephews of the bride. Bridesmaids were Barbra Weise of Quincy, Morgan Jansing of Fort Worth, Texas, and Laura Klein of New Rochelle, N.Y.
Best man was Tanner Robertson of Phoenix. Groomsmen were Alex Schlueter, brother of the bridegroom, and Will Klingner and Zach Lewis, all of Quincy.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 1 at Thyme Square Cafe.A reception followed the ceremony at the brewery. The bride's parents hosted a wedding luncheon June 3 at Quality Inn and Suites.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in horticulture from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a master's degree in environmental science from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She is the owner of Lavish Floral Design and Quincy Tea Company.
The bridegroom earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal. He is a probation officer for the Adams County Probation Department.
