Quincy students should take lessons in U.S., world history

To The Herald-Whig:

I am wondering how the Quincy kids are learning American history?

I reviewed the schoolbook costs and did not find any books that are ways for the kids to learn the history of the U.S. or American or world history.

We listen to many TV programs, and although the questions are not difficult, the kids do not seem to have any idea about any current or past history. Why are there no classes?

I notice that on Wednesday at the school that there is a whole class time that could be used for this purpose.
