Gary and Pam Nebe, of 1731 S. 30th, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Twin Oaks Club. Their children will host the event. Family and friends are invited; no gifts are requested, but cards would be appreciated.
Mr. and Mrs. Nebe will also celebrate with a trip in the fall to Florida and Alabama.
Mr. Nebe and the former Pam Hill were married Aug. 10, 1968, at Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ in Quincy.
Mrs. Nebe is a daughter of Keith Hill of Quincy and the late Imogene Hill. Mr. Nebe is a son of the late Robert Nebe and Kate Nebe of Quincy.
They are the parents of Troy (Sebby) of Daphne, Ala., and Brent (Tina) of Quincy. They have five grandchildren.
Mr. Nebe retired from ADM in Quincy as a foreman.
Mrs. Nebe retired from Town and Country Bank -- Town and Country Travel Office.
The couple met when their parents were friends when they were growing up.
