Quincy High School's Lydia Kurfman finished second at the Granite City Invitational on Saturday with a time of 18:04.
Anna Schuering finished 42nd with a time of 20:58 for the Blue Devils, who finished 10th out of 34 teams.
Fiker Rosen led the boys team with a fifth-place finish and a time of 15:28. Granite City's Andrew O'Keefe won the race in 15:08. The Blue Devils' Noah Fleer earned 39th place with a time of 16:46. QHS finished 12th out of 38 teams.
Rochester Invitational: Liberty finished 12th out of 20 boys teams, with Cannen Wolf taking 17th place in 17:27. Pittsfield's Bryan Piper finished 16th with a time of 17:23, and teammate J.J. Petty earned 38th with a time of 18:22. The Saukees did not have enough runners for a team score.
Liberty's Carrie Balzer placed 11th in 21:08 in the girls race, while Finley Petty led Pittsfield with a 38th place finish and a time of 24:11. Neither team had enough runners for a team score.
Canton Invitational: Lindsey Ayo led the Quincy Notre Dame girls with a ninth-place finish. Ella Borrowman finished in 18th, giving the Raiders a fifth-place finish. The boys team finished seventh.
