The Liberty volleyball team lost the first set but rallied to defeat Southeastern 16-25, 25-18, 25-22 on Monday in Augusta.
The Eagles trailed 19-15 in the third set before coming back to win. Katie Wagner recorded 30 assists while Paige Knuffman added 13 kills and Izzy Gimm had eight to lead the Eagles (5-4). The Suns were led by Hope Cheney's 13 kills and Abbey Owen's 12 assists. Avery Waner had eight kills and three assists.
Central 2, Western 0: The Panthers improved to 5-6 with a 25-11, 25-21 win in Camp Point. Central dominated the first set but struggled in the second set until a diving dig by Aideen Orr kept a ball alive, and the Panthers eventually scored to take a 21-20 lead. Lauren Gille led Central with 10 kills, while Dacey Shore added 17 assists and seven digs.
Brown County 2, Jacksonville ISD 0: Lexi Maas and Kaci McKeon combined for 19 assists as the Hornets (5-6) won 25-5, 25-1 on the road.
Macomb 2, West Hancock 0: Reagan Eaves had six kills while Gracie Boyles added 11 digs for the Titans (1-9) in a 25-13, 25-15 loss at home.
Pittsfield 2, Winchester West Central 0: The Saukees remained undefeated after a 25-23, 25-23 victory at home. Pittsfield (6-0) trailed 21-9 in the first game, but Lilly Pepper had 11 straight points from the service line to spark a comeback. Maggie Marable recorded 13 kills and Chloe Lemons added 25 assists for Pittsfield.
Bowling Green 2, Pleasant Hill 0: Kaylee Smith and Chloe Orr had three kills each in a 25-16, 25-22 home loss for the Wolves (1-6).
