PITTSFIELD, Ill. -- Adams County Home and Community Education will visit the Pike County HCE on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
The groups will meet at the Pike County Courthouse on the Pittsfield square before 10 a.m., and the public is welcome to join the tour.
Participants will divide into groups to tour the courthouse or visit the Grimshaw House before a tour around the square.
A "Dutch treat" lunch will be offered at 11:30 a.m. The Pike Pipers will entertain, and Alice Cripe will give an overview of Pike County history.
After lunch the tour will continue of the talking houses, with another group visiting the Grimshaw house. The East School history museum and All Wars Museum also will be open.
