PLEVNA, Mo. -- A Saturday morning crash north of Plevna injured a Leonard man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Glen E. Dodd, 34, of Leonard, was traveling north, and a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 pickup driven by James C. Dooley, 23, of Novelty, was traveling south on County Road Paradise Place, 4 miles north of Plevna, at 10:53 a.m. The patrol said the vehicles met on the crest of a hill on the rural gravel road and collided.

Dodd was taken by private vehicle to Northeast Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff's Department.
