Two injured in Friday crash in Monroe County

PARIS, Mo. -- Two men were taken ambulance to St. Mary Hospital-Audrain in Mexico for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a crash Friday night 7 miles south of Paris.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 1998 Nissan Altima driven by Casildo Ixcoy, 31, of Little Rock, Ark., was heading east at 10:30 p.m. on Route M when it failed to yield to a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage heading north on Mo. 15 driven by Bradley W. Shatver, 54, of Paris. Both vehicles came to a rest on the side of the road.

Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Assisting at the scene were the Monroe County EMS, the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and the Paris Fire Department.
