Extra points: The Pioneers scored just 40 points in last week's loss to United Township and have scored 52 or fewer points in four of their six games. The Blue Devils have scored more than 60 only once and were held to a season-low 40 points in last week's loss to Moline. Quincy has lost four of its five games by six points or fewer. This is the last road game the Blue Devils play before the Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic as they play three consecutive home games before Christmas. The Blue Devils will look to avoid tying the longest losing streak in program history of six games, and they will have to keep the Pioneers from attacking the rim. Alleman has three players scoring in double figures -- Chase VanDerGinst at 15.5 points per game, Sam Mattecheck at 11.2 and Dayne Hodge at 10.7 -- for a team that is averaging 2.2 3-pointers and just 8.7 3-point attempts per game. Mattecheck, who was the quarterback of Alleman's football team, is 13 of 15 from the free-throw line as the Pioneers get to the stripe 14 times per game. Jaeden Smith snapped out of his shooting funk to lead the Blue Devils with 25 points in last Saturday's loss at Oswego, and the senior guard is leading Quincy in scoring at 14.8 points.
