KAHOKA, Mo. -- University of Missouri Extension will offer a program on the state's fence laws on Thursday, Feb. 21, at six locations, including one in Clark County.

The program begins 6:30 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Center in the basement of the Clark County Courthouse, 111 E. Court.

Extension agricultural business specialist Joe Koenen will give updates on a Missouri fence law that went into effect in 2016. Extension specialists will offer insight into fence maintenance for row crop, livestock and small-acreage owners and help landowners and renters understand their legal and financial responsibilities.

Registration and more information are available by calling the Clark County Extension Center at 660-727-3339.
