C-SC loses in three sets at home

CANTON, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton College men's volleyball team lost 25-19, 25-23, 25-14 to Missouri Valley on Monday night. C-SC (2-9) and Missouri Valley were tied at 15 in the first set before the Vikings (5-4) used a service error and a hitting error by C-SC to take the lead for good. C-SC trailed for most of the second set but got within 24-23 and served to tie the match, but a kill by Tsvetan Todorov ended the set. The third set was tied at 5 when Missouri Valley scored five straight points to take the lead for good.Erin Lee led the Wildcats with 11 kills, and he was one of three players to register five digs. Shaquille Barker totaled eight kills and five digs, while Daniel Fohey had eight kills.
