Kahoka woman faces charges after theft of tractor

KAHOKA, Mo. -- A tractor that was reported stolen Dec. 11 was recovered on Feb. 12 by the Clark County Sheriff's Department.

Kelsey R. Yates, 27, of Kahoka, was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 12.

On Feb. 14, a felony arrest warrant was issued by the 1st Judicial Circuit Court of Clark County. Yates was charged with stealing $25,000 or more, a Class C felony, and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine, a Class D felony.

Yates is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $35,000 cash-only bond.
