Police investigating four reported burglaries on Quincy's east side

QUINCY -- An investigation continues over reported burglaries at four businesses late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

The Quincy Police Department said there were burglaries or attempted burglaries at Beltone Hearing Aid Service, 3718 Broadway; Klingele Veterinary Clinic, 4601 Broadway; the Charles Scholz State Farm Insurance office, 4832 Broadway; and Schafer Chiropractic Clinic, 307 N. 36th. Which locations were entered was not disclosed.

Police didn't know if anything was taken.

Police hold suspect in Hannibal stabbing

A man who was stabbed in Hannibal was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital for treatment. The Hannibal Police Department said it was called at 8:35 a.m. Monday to the 100 block of Dulaney to check the wellbeing of a man on the ground.

A Clark County man is facing felony charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and domestic assault. Clark County Sheriff Shawn Webster said Robert J. Johnson, 38, St. Francisville, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. on March 7, at his home.
