Wayland man faces assault, drug charges

WAYLAND, Mo. -- A Wayland man arrested Saturday faces several charges.

Clark County Sheriff Shawn Webster said that Trenton J. Andrews, 33, was arrested at 2:13 p.m. at his home.

Andrews was arrested on a Clark County warrant charging him with domestic assault third degree, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, second degree, a class A misdemeanor. Andrews was later charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a class D felony, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D misdemeanor.

Andrews is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $15,000 cash-only bond on the domestic assault and endangering charges and a $35,000 cash-only bond on the drug charges.
