QUINCY -- Registration is now being accepted for the Explore Nursing Camp and Explore Health Sciences Camp for high school students. Both camps are hosted by Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Quincy. Both camps are free.
Students ages 15 to 17 can learn about careers in nursing at the June 25 Explore Nursing Camp. There are 20 openings.
During the camp, students will have a job shadow experience with a registered nurse and see simulated patient scenarios.
The Explore Health Sciences Camp on July 9 is for students ages 13 to 15 who are interested in health information management, surgery tech, radiology, respiratory care and nursing. There are 20 openings. During the camp, students will experience simulated patient scenarios.
