M. Ishaqe Memon, MD, has joined Blessing Physician Services as an oncologist. He holds certifications from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and American Board of Internal Medicine. Memon has a medical degree from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed an internship at Yale University Medical Center and a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

David Janus has joined Wells Fargo Advisors office in Quincy as a financial advisor. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a master's degree in business from Lindenwood University. He has more than nine years of experience.


Georgene Zimmerman of Quincy, supervisor of assessments for Adams County, was honored with the 2019 Marshall Theroux Memorial Award in recognition of her long career in property assessment and contributions to the industry. She received the award at the Illinois Property Assessment Institute's 61st Annual Spring Conference in April in Normal. Zimmermann has worked for the Adams County Supervisor of Assessments office for 46 years and led the office for 29 years.

Ryan Ramsey of Ramsey Financial Services Inc. in Bowen has been honored with the President's Club distinction with Auto-Owners Insurance Co. for 2018. The President's Club honors the top 25- producing life, health and annuity agents nationwide for the company in a calendar year. This is the eighth time Ramsey has been given the award.
