Ethan Arns has been promoted to consumer loan officer. He has been with the bank since 2015. He has a bachelor of science degree in finance from Quincy University.
Christine Baker has been promoted to vice president of enterprise risk management and compliance. She has been with the bank since 2001. She has a bachelor's degree from Culver-Stockton College.
Nikki Cain has been promoted to vice president. She began her career at First Bankers in 1998. She is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College.
Devan Hitt has been promoted to vice president of deposit operations. She joined First Bankers in 2015. Hitt attended John Wood Community College and Western Illinois University.
Lisa Palmer has been promoted to enterprise risk management officer. She has been with the bank since 2013. Palmer has a bachelor of science degree in finance and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Quincy University.
Michele Walgren has been promoted to vice president of retail banking. She joined the bank in 2012. Walgren attended Blackhawk Community College in Moline and John Wood Community College in Quincy, and is a 2010 graduate of Community Bankers School in Bloomington.
Dr. Drake B. White has joined UnityPoint Health-Memorial Hospital in Carthage as an orthopedic surgeon. White is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed a residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. White specializes in orthopedic care including fractures, dislocations, sprains, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Dena Nokes, care coordinator in nursing, was named Employee of the Month for April at SIU Center for Family Medicine. She has worked at the clinic for six years. Angie Henderson, an office specialist in behavioral health, was named Employee of the Month for May. She has worked at the clinic for eight years.
