BRASHEAR, Mo. -- An Edina woman was injured in a Saturday afternoon crash in Brashear.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by Paul M. Lewis, 59, of Hurdland, was traveling west on Mo. 6 at South Olive Street in Brashear at 3:40 p.m. when it failed to yield to a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country traveling east driven by Angela D. Strange, 48, of Edina, while making a left turn. The patrol said the two vehicles collided head-on.

Strange, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Region Hospital with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff's Department and Adair County First Responders.
