LaBelle man arrested on drug charge during traffic stop

LABELLE, Mo. -- A LaBelle man is being held in the Lewis County Jail on possession of a controlled substance charge after the Lewis County Sheriff's Department said it found methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

Pharris D. Goodwin, 31, was arrested Wednesday after the Sheriff's Department said it conducted a routine traffic stop in LaBelle and reportedly found the drugs.

The Sheriff's Department said Goodwin is currently under supervision of the Missouri Probation Department.

He is being held on a $20,000 cash-only bond.
