Hannibal's summer food service program to begin Wednesday

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Hannibal School District's summer food service program starts Wednesday.

According to the district, free breakfasts and lunches will be served through June 21 for school-aged children up to age 18.

Meals will be served Mondays through Fridays at three locations:

º Veterans Elementary School: Breakfast, 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.; lunch, 11 a.m. to noon.

º Early childhood center: Breakfast, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; lunch, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

º Hannibal Middle School: Breakfast, 7:15 to 8 a.m.; lunch, 11:15 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

Disabled adults and those determined by the state to be mentally or physically handicapped also are eligible for the free meals.
