CENTER, Mo. -- A Camp Point, Ill., man was injured in a Sunday morning crash on the north edge of Center.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country mini van driven by James L. Simpson, 67, of Camp Point, was northbound on Mo. 19 at 8:06 a.m. The patrol said the driver fell asleep, traveled off the left side of the road and hit a utility pole and a ditch.
Simpson, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Ralls County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
The patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Center Fire Department and Ameren.
