HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that Mo. 79 south of Hannibal near Continental Cement reopened to traffic as flood waters from the Mississippi River have receded. However, MoDOT warned motorists that several areas along Mo. 79 between Saverton and Winfield remain closed.
MoDOT also announced that all lanes of U.S. 24 in West Quincy were open to traffic after the Memorial Bridge reopened.
