Motorist collides with tractor on rural Pike County highway

CALUMET, Mo. -- A Lincoln County, Mo., woman suffered minor injuries on Thursday after the vehicle she was driving collided with a tractor on a rural Pike County highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Etta E. Barron, 68, of Elsberry struck a 1983 John Deere tractor driven by Cameron L. Lockard, 22, of Eolia. The tractor was exiting Pike County Road 9234 and turning east onto Hwy. WW when Barron's vehicle struck the tractor.

Barron, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana for treatment. Lockard, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured in the crash.
