QUINCY -- A Quincy man has been arrested on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving a victim over the age of 60 at Good Samaritan Home.
Officers with the Quincy Police Department were contacted June 6 by administrators of a Quincy nursing home at 2130 Harrison who had been alerted by residents of alleged inappropriate sexual contact by a chaplain who is no longer employed at the home.
After an investigation, James E. Riley, 58, of Quincy, was arrested Monday morning and taken to the Adams County Jail.
The investigation was done in cooperation with the nursing home administration and is also being investigated by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Riley is expected to appear Tuesday in Adams County Court.
