QUINCY -- The Bayview Bridge was closed about 30 minutes Wednesday night after police responded to a report of a suicidal man on the bridge.

The Quincy Police Department said it was dispatched to the bridge at 7:53 p.m. and found a man who had climbed over the guardrail of the bridge. After officers spoke to the man, he climbed over the guardrail and was taken to Blessing Hospital.

This is the second time in two days emergency responders have responded to the report of a suicidal individual on a Quincy bridge. Memorial Bridge was closed for two hours early Tuesday morning after crews responded to a report of a suicidal person on the bridge.
