Eastbound ramp onto I-172 to close Monday for resurfacing

HULL, Ill. -- The ramp from eastbound Interstate 72 to northbound Interstate 172 will close Monday, July 22.

The Illinois Department of Transportation said the closing is needed for crews to resurface the road. The work will start at 9 a.m. and is expected to be finished by 7 p.m.

The posted detour will direct motorists to the I-72 exit at Hull, where they can exit, cross over and re-enter I-72 westbound to get to I-172.
