When I was a kid, I wanted to be ... a veterinarian. My father was a veterinarian. I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I can't imagine not having a dog in my life!

What would you rather be doing right now? Relaxing on the dock at the lake.

Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone that ... I was extremely shy as a child.

Other than your wedding day and/or the birth of your children, what was your proudest moment? Continuing to achieve my personal and career goals.

It really stinks when ... I hear people gossip about friends/family.

What word in the dictionary would your face be next to? Happy.

I always laugh when ... I do something stupid!

Invite any three people, living or dead, to dinner. Who are they? My mother -- going strong at 95, an amazing role model who I respect and admire not only for the love she gives but for her courage, strength and attitude to enjoy life. My grandmother -- I would love to sit at her kitchen table, drink coffee, eat molasses cookies and hear again about her childhood, surviving the Depression, lessons learned and what, if anything, she would have done differently. Mentors in my life that pushed me out of my comfort zone to continue to grow and learn both personally and professionally versus settling for status quo.

At the end of a really long day at work, I like to ... work out and then relax.

People who knew me in high school thought I was ... very social and loved to dance.

My most unforgettable brush with greatness was ... being on TV, participating in the Bill Riley talent sprouts show, tap dancing to "Hello Dolly."

I would drop all my plans tonight if I had the chance to ... go to a Rolling Stones concert.

If someone gave me a million dollars, there is STILL no way I would ... parachute jump.

America should be more concerned about ... uniting the people and overcoming the anger and illness associated with the violence taking place over the past 20 years.

I'm OK if there's ever a national shortage of ... swimsuits.

When I'm on the internet, I always go to ... top news stories.

What is the most useful piece of advice you have ever received? Respect does not come with a title. It is something you must earn. -- Clarence Cory.

When I'm cruising down the road, I'm likely listening to ... The Highway.

I always get sentimental when ... I see a dog that needs a good home.

The older I get, the more I realize ... Don't sweat the small stuff -- life is too short. Instead, rise above it, and move on.

If I had one "do-over," I would ... never use the words could have, should have, would have. Learn from the past, and use it as a lesson for the future.

My favorite item of clothing is ... anything comfortable!

If I've learned anything at all ... Don't rush life. Enjoy each day, and make the most of it.
